Cleaning a Trubine by Liquid Sandblasting

Advantages of Liquid Sandblasting:
Near White to White Finish - Surfaces can be cleaned to a white or near white finish by adapting the proper pressure and blasting agent. All scale or deposits can be removed regardless of hardness or degree of adhesion. Thanks to the higher impact energy of it's abrasive jet, the wet cleaning method is considerably more efficient than the dry cleaning method.
Crack Detection - Most cracks in coatings can be detected more easily by the naked eye, and more accurate UT readings can be achieved by utilizing the liquid sandblasting method that achieves a polishing effect through the entrapment of abrasives in the stream of water droplets, which aid in more accurate readings.
Easy Visual Inspection - After dropping down two stages, personnel can begin visual inspection or UT testing because with liquid sandblasting there is no dust, the operator has better visibility while working, creating a safer more efficient work area.
Less Clean Up - With liquid sandblasting there is less clean up at the end of the process because water has carried most of the debris and blasting agent down, and the operator can do a quick rinse as he goes down the boiler.
